"When Darkness Speaks”
For those who are hurting and those who believe in Christ
When darkness is all you see,
And thoughts intrude relentlessly,
When voices echo, sharp and cold,
Urging you to lose your hold—
When pain becomes your closest friend,
And every breath feels near the end,
When heartache writes its name in scars,
And healing feels so very far—
Know this: your Savior sees it all.
He hears your cries, He feels your fall.
Each setback, wound, and silent tear—
He holds you close, He draws you near.
When your body aches from battles fought,
And your mind is tangled in every thought,
When the weight of life feels too immense,
And peace seems lost behind the fence—
God whispers softly through the storm,
"I made you whole, I'll keep you warm.
No pain you feel escapes My sight,
I walk with you through darkest night.”
Let God's voice be louder than any voice—
Above the lies, above the noise.
Let His truth drown out despair,
And lift you from the depths of care.
Let His hand reach out to yours,
Through broken dreams and bolted doors.
Let Him give you strength to stay,
And hope to rise another day.
He knows the depth of every wound,
The silent screams, the empty room.
He bore the cross, He felt despair,
So you would know He's always there.
You are not weak for feeling low,
You are not wrong for letting go—
Of burdens you were never meant
To carry without His consent.
So lift your eyes, though dim they be,
There's light ahead that you cannot see.
The grave was conquered, death undone,
By Jesus Christ, God's risen Son.
You are not lost, you are not done,
You are beloved, chosen one.
So when the night feels far too long,
Lean on His love—it makes you strong.
Let grace be louder than the lies,
Let hope arise and fill your skies.
You're not alone, not now, not ever—
His love for you will never fail you.
