A weekend of celebration

My dad's birthday was this past weekend and the family was really excited to go out and celebrate it. As usual my dad is not into big lavish celebrations so we ended doing a low key dinner party at Genghis Grill... (I must say this place has become a family favorite. ) This place is great as I mentioned in a earlier post. The place was pack as usual but we didn't mind the wait. All we care about that this is my dad wanted. So finally we were sited and went to build our bowls, it was my sissy first time so mom went we her to help and the kiddos were so hyped to celebrate abuelo's birthday(birthdays are a huge deal in our family) and to see the place that they were so eager to eat. my niece was so psyched to see her food being cook. She told me that she had dreams about it and drove her mom crazy. ( some of it is my fault) but i love to know that my kiddos love to go out to eat as much as we do. It was so nice to see the joy of my niece face and the enjoyment she had by picking her bowl ingredients. No picky eaters here.... We all had a great time at Genghis grill, we enjoy the food, share our bowls, talk, joke and cry from laughing (we got everyone's attention) we were happy campers. The restaurant share with us as well by giving my dad a free bowl and dessert(not free). They also ring the shield and yelled out happy birthday. it was nice that the whole restaurant celebrate with us but a little embarrassing for daddy. oh well, sorry dad! overall a great experience and a fun birthday. After our wonderful time at GG we went home and surprised daddy with a family celebration. We had beautifully decorated the table(bingo theme) and really yummy cake. We all yelled out happy birthday and sing once again happy birthday to you and enjoy the cake. Open gifts and a we play a little prank of him which was hilarious we simply enjoyed our time...............................................

Next day, the church celebrated dad's birthday as well. We sang happy birthday and we all ate cake and appetizers. Church members were so nice they gave him few gifts and he felt so appreciated. He love it; as we. It's nice to know that the church members love as much as you do. The day was filled with laughter, more jokes, gifts, singing, fellowship and FOOD...We celebrasted all the january's birthday so it was a big party. nonethelss, a blessed one.

Happy Birthday daddy!
