December’s Beautiful Chaos

December arrives like a sparkling storm,

With glitter and laughter in festive form.
Calendars brim with parties and cheer,
The busiest season of the year.

Shopping lists stretch like winter skies,
Ribbons and bows in a merry surprise.
Boxes pile high, gifts to conceal,
The thrill of giving is all we feel.

Music hums through crowded halls,
Carols echo as snowflakes fall.
Voices rise in joyful song,
A chorus that carries us all along.

Cookies bake in a fragrant haze,
Children giggle through holiday plays.
Games erupt with playful delight,
As twinkling lights outshine the night.

Amid the chaos of family days,
We stumble through in tangled ways.
Arguments spark, then laughter flows,
Love shines brighter than any bows.
For every mess and silly fight,
Becomes a memory warm and bright.

Yet in the rush, the spills, the mess,
We find a rhythm of happiness.
The tangled lights, the cocoa stains,
The laughter that dances through candy canes.

For chaos is part of the holiday tune,
A melody bright beneath the moon.
It’s hugs in hallways, gifts exchanged,
Plans rewritten, then rearranged.

So breathe it in—this festive spree,
The magic lives in the wild and free.
December’s joy is not in calm,
But in the whirlwind, warm and strong.
