Día de las Madres en Panamá
In Panama, December brings more than cheer,
It brings a day we hold so dear.
On the eighth, the nation bows in grace,
To honor mothers—our heart, our base.
Church bells ring, a sacred sound,
Families gather, love profound.
With flowers bright and prayers sincere,
We celebrate the women we revere.
Mami, Happy Mother's Day!
We honor you twice each year,
Though far from home, you're here with me,
Your love still feels like the deep blue sea.
We celebrate the woman you are,
I'm grateful for these months we share,
To cherish moments, big and small—
Happy Mother's Day to all my Panamanian moms everywhere!
And what's a feast without flavors divine?
Seafood fresh and coconut shine.
Arroz con guandú con leche de coco,
A dish that speaks of love en todo.
The table hums with laughter and grace,
Tradition is alive in every taste.
For in this land, it's more than a date,
It's a promise of love we celebrate.
Through distance, time, and oceans wide,
A mother's strength is our most excellent guide.
So raise your voice, let joy be known,
For mothers' love is Panama's own.
A sacred bond, a timeless way,
We celebrate this Mother's Day.
