Sunday afternoon, after church my papis decided to swing by the Junta hispana event, this event is where all the Latin america countries unite and celebrate their culture. Since Panama was going to be represented we wanted to see our fellow friends Raíces de panama(folklore dance group) and to our surprised not only they performed but also the consulate had a booth. We were so happy to see photos, clothing and information about our country. Seeing all the countries being represented in one place is pretty cool.
My niece was spending the weekend with me so of course she had the chance to enjoy along with us. there were art, food, dances,crafts activities for everyone. Even though it was hot we push through it and enjoy few dances, took photos and received few prizes. All in all it was a nice event to experience.
