“Breathe—God Is Here”

For those facing panic, and those clinging to faith

When panic grips and steals your breath,
And every thought feels close to death,
When trembling hands can't find their way,
And fear consumes the light of day—

When your heart races without a cause,
And time stands still in anxious pause,
When numbness spreads and tears won't fall,
And you forget you're loved at all—

Anxiety lies;
It clouds your mind,
It tells you peace you'll never find.
It says you're trapped, that hope is gone,
That you can't make it one more dawn.

But in the chaos, soft and clear,
God whispers, "Child, I'm always near.
Breathe in, breathe out—I'm still right here.
This storm will pass, do not fear."

Let God's voice be louder than the rest,
A sacred calm within your chest.
Let His truth break through the haze,
And guide you through these shadowed days.

Let His hand reach out to yours,
Through broken dreams and bolted doors.
Let Him give you strength to stay,
And hope to rise another day.

Anxiety is not your shame,
Not weakness, failure, guilt, or blame.
It's a signpost, bold and bright—
That you've been fighting through the night.

It shows you're carrying too much weight,
Alone, in silence, at the gate.
But you were never meant to bear
These burdens are without God's care.

So give to Him what breaks your soul,
Lean on His love to make you whole.
Abide in Him, and you will find
A peace that calms your anxious mind.

Feelings are not your enemy—
They're indicators, faithfully,
That help is needed, love is near,
That healing starts when we draw near.

So breathe again, though weak you feel,
His love is deep, His grace is real.
This moment hurts, but it won't last—
Hold on, dear heart, this too shall pass.
